Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert – Billing Operations to join our Finance team in Bangalore, reporting to the Billing Supervisor in London, UK. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. The successful candidate will have prior experience using Oracle NetSuite and Salesforce, possess strong communication skills in English, and thrive in a collaborative, global environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience as a Billing Coordinator, preferably in a senior role
- In-depth knowledge of order-to-cash processes
- Proficiency in using Netsuite and Salesforce is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment
Responsibilities:
- Generate and process accurate invoices and credit notes based on customer agreements and sales orders
- Verify billing information for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain and update customer information in NetSuite, including contact details and billing addresses
- Possess end-to-end global billing knowledge, handling various tax regulations, and collaborating with sales and stakeholders
- Respond promptly to customer billing inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Work effectively under tight deadlines and have experience with month-end processes
- Provide training to new team members on billing processes
- Proficiently use NetSuite and Salesforce for billing, invoicing, and order management
